Welcome to Gamecity. By continuing to use Gamecity.org website, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Tickets
All ticket sales are issued subject to the Rules and Regulations of GameCity. No order will be accepted until we have received payment of the whole of the price of the tickets you have ordered.
All events within Gatecrasher are for over 16s only. Other events where an age restriction applies are clearly indicated during the booking process or online at www.gamecity.org. Please ensure that you read all the information that applies to the event/ticket you are booking, and carry proof of age if appropriate.
Passes can be collected from Gatecrasher on the day of your selected programme. The e-mail receipt you receive upon completion of payment is confirmation of your ticket purchase. You will need to bring this with you to register at the festival, as well as a form of ID (driver’s licence, passport, student card etc.). Once your ticket has been verified, you will receive a non-transferable wristband which must be worn at all times.
Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled. Customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt. GameCity will not issue duplicates for lost or stolen wristbands.
Concessions
Concessions are only available to full-time students. Only one discount will be available per ticket and students will be required to present their NUS card at registration.
Special events
One day and three day festival passes are valid for all events on the days they cover. However, for some events there may be an additional charge on the door for food and drink, and some venues have a limited capacity and so entry cannot be guaranteed for all. We recommend arriving in good time for events you are particularly keen to see.
Programming changes
Tickets are sold subject to GameCity’s right to alter or vary the programme due to circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets. In the event of cancellation by the organiser, GameCity will refund the face value of the ticket. Please note, it is the customer’s responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue.
If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or changed, GameCity will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation/change. GameCity cannot guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of any changes to the event date, time or venue.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform GameCity of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of your confirmation e-mail. Please note that our preferred method of contact for attendees booking online is by email, so care should be taken to provide a current, valid email address.
Venue restrictions
The right of admission to an event is reserved by the promoter and event venue, who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account at their reasonable discretion, and may from time to time carry out security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
GameCity advises attendees that no refunds will be offered to attendees who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of late arrival; being (or appearing to be) under age; abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas); or carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances.
Ticket holders consent to being filmed, photographed and recorded as members of the audience. The resulting film footage, images and recordings may be used to promote GameCity and its activities in print, in the media and on websites.
The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and regulations whilst attending the event. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable GameCity to eject the ticket holder from the venue/s.
GameCity cannot accept responsibility for any personal property.

GameCity does not accept any liability for any losses or claims arising from any inability to access our website or any failure to complete a booking on the website.
All personal data is managed in accordance with appropriate UK and European data protection and freedom of information legislation.
