Firstly, thanks to everyone who showed up (and passed out) at the first GameCityNights event and thanks to Antenna for being gracious hosts. We think/hope it went rather well and we've got some great ideas to make the next one even more spectacular.
For those of you who couldn't make it, you can read a great review of the night here thanks to Platform Online.
More thanks go to all the speakers who each did a fantastic job:
Rob Burman, PR manager at South Peak Games, the EU publishers of 3D Dot Game Heroes, for giving us an innuendo laden play-through suitable only for an after-dark event ahead of the game's highly anticipated UK launch. Hurry up with that, please.
John Sear and cohorts of We Are Colin for dropping by to demo their latest iPhone title, Word Search Rush, and giving a very funny, insightful history of their adventures in games development.
And lastly Sean Murray of Hello Games for giving us a brilliant presentation to end the evening and for letting us have a go at the IGF nominated Joe Danger, which we are seriously looking forward to the release of.
Be sure to mark Thursday 25th March in your calendars as we're already planning GameCityNights #2 which will have another great line-up. We truly appreciate any feedback/suggestions so get in touch if you have any comments regarding the event. We want to make GameCityNights special.
